Children and teens in foster care have experienced abuse and neglect, but they will thrive and reach their full potential with the support and love of a dedicated family. For a young person who is waiting, finding an adoptive family means that they have a lifelong permanent connection. Children and teens who have a caring parent are more likely to graduate high school and attend college, and they are also less likely to experience homelessness and become involved with the juvenile justice system.

The availability of their pictures leaves our children recognizable and vulnerable to unwanted attention.
