Athena IS currently on hold
Athena's favorite color is turquoise! This teen delights in drawing and coloring when she needs some mindfulness. Athena adores cooking, and she can often be found whipping up yummy treats in the kitchen. As every cook needs a day off, Athena suggests Chinese and Mexican food for a take-out run. Sports are another interest of hers; everything from volleyball to cheerleading and gymnastics pique her fancy. "Bump, set, spike" is a phrase that this volleyball whiz knows well. Athena adores animals and has a soft spot, especially for horses, cats, and dogs. Helping others is her superpower, and she is a fan of the one and only Batgirl. Athena gets along well with peers and adults. She can see herself as a model and an OB/GYN when she is grown.
Math is the best part of her school day as a seventh-grader.
Athena would do best in a family with a mom and a dad, with pets, in which she can be the youngest child in the home; however, her caseworker will consider all family types. She will need to remain in contact with her great grandmother and aunt following placement. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
